Trek Life – Get In Touch Digital 12″

“Rappers are people too,” according to Trek Life. Part of that includes the occasional sidebar from serious topics like the impending war with Iran to a more pressing concern shared by most men of a certain age: getting it in.

Featuring the talents of Richard Wright & Belvi, Trek is in rare form over the Oddisee produced instrumental. With the Ayiro-produced cut That’s Alright on the flipside, this is a definite must cop for the weekend.

Snapback Back

Less than 5 of the ORIGINAL Pasadena & West Covina snapbacks left in the web shop. Thanks to everyone who’s supported this 626ers thing of ours! Every time I see someone’s eyes light up because they see their city represented proudly makes the work worthwhile.

Jansport J – MoveMeants II: The Reprise

Back in May 2011, I checked in with one of Hip Hop’s premier DJ’s/Tastemakers House Shoes. We spent the evening playing beats for each other, in which I also took the opportunity to play him an early version of MoveMeants II. Valuing his honest and sometimes sobering opinion, this was the night that I realized the album was decent, but simply not good enough. I spent the next couple of months re-working the project until I knew that it was a work that I could be undoubtedly proud of.

Might be a good idea to check out the original release before part dos hits in March.
